BFI Finance held a series of sustainable financial literacy initiatives in Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), as an actualization of the company’s commitment to improving comprehension and capabilities in financial management among local fishermen and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) entrepreneurs. The initiatives were organized through collaboration with the Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Office of Kupang City as a part of Sustainable Financial Literacy program that BFI Finance has been doing consistently.
The series of initiatives commenced with Financial Literacy Seminar (09/12/2025) themed “Financially Literate Fishermen”, which was participated by around 100 participants. This program was then followed by Financial Literacy Assistance for 50 most active participants, which was held gradually during October-December 2025.
BFI Finance, as a multifinance company in the financial services industry, carries out educative role through financial literacy initiatives in various regions across the country. The initiatives are aimed at improving comprehension among customers and communities regarding financial management and proper use of financial services in order to support in creating financial ecosystem that is healthy, sustainable, and in accordance with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) policy.
