Employment BPJS is an agency established by the government to provide social security protection for Indonesian workers. Existing guarantees include insurance for accidents, death, old age, and pension funds.

This program was basically made as a form of responsibility and obligation of the state in providing social protection for workers.

BPJS for employment (BPJS TK) collects funds from its participants, both formal and informal workers with very affordable nominal contributions or premiums. These contributions are generally charged to companies or institutions that provide wages or salaries. In short, BPJS TK carries a mutual cooperation system (from participants, for participants).

1.1 Employment BPJS Program

As mentioned earlier, BPJS Employment has 4 programs which include:

1. Work Accident Guarantee

Work Accident Insurance or JKK is a program that guarantees protection from various risks of accidents at work or work-related. This guarantee also covers the cost of treating work-related illnesses.

2. Death Guarantee

The second program is life insurance. With this program, heirs or families left behind due to work accidents will receive compensation in the form of cash.

3. Old Age Guarantee

The old age security program (JHT) provides benefits in the form of cash whose value is accumulated from existing contributions and then added to the results of the development. JHT funds can be disbursed all at once.

4. Pension Guarantee

Pension Insurance (JP) is intended for BPJS Employment participants as a guarantee of a decent life in old age. If the BPJS participant dies, the benefits of this guarantee will be given to their heirs. Not only that, JP also provides compensation for members affected by permanent disability caused by an accident while working.
