SOUTH TANGERANG, FEBRUARY 16, 2021 - As a concrete manifestation of its concerns for education and human resources quality, particularly for educators in Indonesia, PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFI Finance) holds virtual training for teachers. Raising the theme "Creative Teacher 4.0", this virtual training was held for a month and was open since February 11. This training is expected to develop teachers’ capacity in preparing digital-based teaching materials during e-learning period.
The training participants came from six cities, namely Palembang, Jambi, Kediri, Denpasar, Bitung, and Palu. Dozens of teachers of junior and senior high school attended this event online. This virtual program also invited Taufik Ikhsan Slamet, S.Pd., M.Pd, Lecturer and Researcher at State University of Malang, as one of the speakers.
For a month, the teachers were provided with materials such as introduction to problem-based learning methods for e-learning, technical use of simple software applications for teaching, video recording and editing, and proper use of social media. After materials and theories have been presented, BFI Finance will provide assistance, assign projects for teachers to initiate digital teaching materials, and finally have them present the projects.
