  • Parent’s income statement (official letter or stamped document)

  • Proof of economic condition: KIP Sekolah/KKS/PKH, DTKS letter, or SKTM

  • Photos of the house (front, back, living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom)

  • Utility bills (electricity/water) or village statement if using other sources

  • Land and Building Tax (PBB) proof or residence statement (for renters/boarders)

  • Achievement certificates

  • KIP Kuliah declaration letter according to university format

Requirements for KIP Kuliah Application

KIP Kuliah 2025 registration officially opens on February 3, 2025. Below are the eligibility requirements:

  • Graduates of SMA/SMK/MA or equivalent in the current year or up to two years prior.

  • Passed university admission selection through SNBP, SNBT, or independent pathways at accredited PTN/PTS (A, B, or C).

  • Maximum age of 21, with valid NISN, NPSN, and NIK.

  • Good academic potential but facing economic hardship, proven by official documents.

  • Eligible applicants include those from social institutions/orphanages, KIP holders during secondary school, students with disabilities, those from 3T areas (Papua, West Papua, etc.), or those affected by disasters/special conditions.

  • Registered in DTKS or recipients of Ministry of Social Affairs assistance (PKH, PBI-JK, BPNT), or categorized as poor/vulnerable up to the third decile in the P3KE Data by the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK).

  • Not currently receiving other scholarships or educational assistance with similar funding from APBN/APBD.

 

How to Apply for KIP Kuliah

KIP Kuliah account registration can be done in two ways: independently by students or through universities for accepted students. During registration, applicants must provide valid data from the Education Data System (Dapodik), including:

  • National Identity Number (NIK)

  • National Student Identification Number (NISN)

  • National School Identification Number (NPSN)

Applicants must also use an active email to receive their Registration Number and Access Code after validation.

Registration Steps for KIP Kuliah 2025:

  1. Students create an account at the official website kip-kuliah.kemdiktisaintek.go.id.

  2. Enter NIK, NISN, NPSN, and an active email address.

  3. The system validates the data and sends a Registration Number and Access Code to the registered email.

  4. Log in to the KIP Kuliah portal with the Registration Number and Access Code to complete the data and choose the selection pathway (SNBP, SNBT, or Independent).

  5. Complete the registration process according to the chosen pathway by uploading the required documents.

  6. For students already accepted at universities, further verification will be conducted by the campus before submission to Kemdiktisaintek as KIP Kuliah recipients.
