BFI Finance once again showed its commitment to environmental conservation through the “BFI Jelantah Hijau” (‘BFI Green Used Cooking Oil”) program. Collaborating with Noovoleum, BFI Finance launched the UCOllect Box at SDN Sukasari 4 elementary school in the City of Tangerang (11/29/2025). UCOllect Box has been placed as a depot to collect used cooking oil where each of oil deposits can be converted into money (in rupiah) through UCOllect application.
This program is expected to be able to raise environmental awareness from an early age. Moreover, the UCOllect Box also facilitates students, teachers, and general public to dispose used cooking oil to a safe place. Used cooking oil deposited to the UCOllect Box machine then can be recycled into something beneficial for renewable energy such as, among others, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
The “BFI Jelantah Hijau” program is one of the manifestations to demonstrate that BFI Finance as a financing company does not only serve as a partner for financial solutions, but also actively creates sustainable positive impacts. This act also shows BFI Finance’s commitment to taking care of the earth while at the same time calling on society to have ecological awareness and a strong circular economy.
