BFI Finance continues to strengthen its connection with local communities through the BFI Finance Community Fest 2026, held on August 28, 2026. The community engagement and public education program featured a series of educational and interactive activities for the people of Surabaya. The event comprised two main agendas: “NGOPI (Ngobrol Otomotif, Pembiayaan dan Informasi Lainnya) Bareng BFI Finance” and “Bersalingsilang with BFI Finance.”
Through “NGOPI Bareng BFI Finance,” participants gained insights into financing, automotive matters, and other issues relevant to the community, with speakers from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of East Java Province, the East Java Regional Police Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas Polda Jawa Timur), and Otospector. The session was attended by hundreds of participants from automotive communities, MSME entrepreneurs, blogger communities, and the general public.
The event continued with “Bersalingsilang with BFI Finance,” in collaboration with the Lyfe With Less community through an exchange of pre-loved items. Carrying the theme #BarangLamaCeritaBaru (“Old Things, New Stories”), the program encouraged participants to embrace a more sustainable lifestyle by giving pre-loved items a new purpose and extending the useful life of products that may still hold value for others.
In line with its commitment to consumer protection and strengthening public financial literacy, BFI Finance continues to engage more closely with communities while creating meaningful value for society. Through BFI Finance Community Fest 2026, participants also received education on their rights and responsibilities as financing consumers, as well as a better understanding of the legality and proper documentation of vehicle ownership documents used as financing collateral to ensure a safe and responsible financing process.
