Central Maluku, August 10, 2023 – PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFI Finance) once again held the Gerakan 1000 (1000 Movement) program aimed for elementary school students by distributing a thousand pairs of shoes and socks. The education supplies assistance was given to eight state elementary schools (SDN) in Maluku and North Maluku (Malut) provinces, namely SDN 232 Liang Maluku Tengah, SDN 163 Waai Maluku Tengah, SDN 114 Maluku Tengah, SDN 191 Maluku Tengah, SDN 145 Maluku Tengah, SDN Ama Ory Ambon, SDN 68 Ternate, and SDN 23 Ternate.
In addition to the 1000 Movement, students in fifth and sixth grades of SDN 232 Liang Maluku Tengah received financial education about financing company, which was conveyed in the form of storytelling for children to make it more comprehensible. Apart from that, BFI Finance also donated to the students some general knowledge books generated from employee donations.
The 1000 Movement program has been carried out since 2015 in various regions in Indonesia that included, among others, Batam, Pekanbaru, North Lombok, Kupang, Maumere, Gowa, Sukabumi, Sintang, Lumajang, and Balaraja (Tangerang). BFI Finance continuously carries out corporate social responsibility programs and contributes actively to surrounding environment.
